The Atlantis Sanya, an integrated resort named after the famed lost city, launched a series of by-invitation events across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu ahead of its opening in early 2018. Well-heeled guests can view the 86,000 marine animals in the Ambassador Lagoon from the comfort of the resort’s luxury underwater suites with floor-to-ceiling glass window panels.

There are four Neptune Underwater Suites and the more spacious Poseidon Underwater Suite provide a breathtaking view of the resort’s underwater world. The Ambassador Lagoon is the largest open-air aquarium in China with 280 different species of marine animals on display.
