The Marktgasse (Zurich)

This is a hotel that is designed to make you feel completely at home. The building which houses Marktgasse harks back to the 15th century. With over six centuries of hospitality behind them, they not only have an old world charm but also a certain vintage appeal that is at once endearing and awe inspiring.

The renovated property has 39 individually furnished rooms, two restaurants and a bar. Some of the heritage elements from what was one of Zurich’s oldest inns have been preserved such as uneven floors and winding lanes that lead up to the property. Centrally located, it makes local sightseeing very convenient. Spending time within the hotel is an experience to cherish. The terrace is ideal to spend a morning chatting and looking out on parts of the old town area.

The library and salon are equipped with books and if you are lucky you may chance upon a concert and be part of an intimate audience celebrating local music.
