The DFS Wines and Spirits Duplex store at Changi Airport, Singapore, Terminal 2, is inspired by the heritage of craftsmanship in the wine, spirits and tobacco worlds. Designed by award-winning interior designer Masamichi Katayama, the 15,520 square-foot store spans two floors and delivers an interactive, engaging shopping experience that allows guests to sample and explore 900 products.

The Wine Reserve features 350 wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Australia, USA, Italy, New Zealand and Portugal, the perfect place to taste a dozen offerings from the enomatic machine. The Cigar Room doesn’t disappoint with a wide assortment of the world’s finest cigars from Cuba, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras with lots of humidors, cigar cases and travel accessories for your aficionado. Upstairs, staff design individual samplings at the all new Whiskey House to help demystify selections and deliver an intuitive, experiential shopping experience.

Just outside, seven boutiques from Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Hennessy, Johnnie Walker, Remy Martin, The Dalmore and The Macallan wow with their unique essence, culture and character. Throughout the year, guests can enjoy visits from master distillers, blenders and brand ambassadors.

DFS Chairman and CEO, Philippe Schaus commented, “At DFS, we aim to provide our customers with much more than a shopping venue. Customers not only find exclusive products with us, but exceptional experience as well and we pride ourselves on offering them the journey of discovery. Through visits from brand ambassadors and special events, customers can learn about the history and nuances of our products directly from the people who make them. A perfect example of this is DFS’ Masters Series, a signature program of exhibitions that includes Masters of Wines and Spirits held annually in Singapore and Masters of Time in Macau. The Masters Series is a showcase of the pinnacle of DFS’ leadership and innovation in curating and creating exceptional experiences across its pillars of luxury: wines and spirits, beauty and fragrances, watches and jewellery, fashion and accessories, and food and gifts. On a local store level, we have a very active program in stores where we offer, for instance, tasting sessions in our wines and spirits stores. Whether our customers are collectors, connoisseurs or just curious, they are always interested in learning more from our brand ambassadors so that they can make more informed purchasing decisions. A purchase is always more special if the selection process is memorable!” This is a great way to discover new brands and fall in love again with the classics.
