The largest American cruise company, American cruise Lines announced their newest ship, the Good Ole Opry. The Good Ole Opry is scheduled to travel along the Mississippi River for 7 days. There will be on-board musical performances as well as complimentary tickets for the Grand Ole Opry of Nashville for Leroy Van Dyke’s September 27th show. The cruise is departing from Nashville, Tennessee, the heart and soul of country music. Famous artists that started their stardom in the industry include Johnny Cash and The Everly Brothers.

Leory Van Dyke, the music legend, will definitely bring back the country industry to life onboard. His career consisting of 500 songs some of the famous ones being “The Auctioneer” (1956) and “Walk on By” (1961) will no disappoint considering he hasn’t miss a show in over 30 years. The journey up the Mississippi River and through the American heartland is projected to be a wonderful experience. Breaking Travel News reported on the ship’s aesthetics and amenities commenting that, “onboard, [guests will] enjoy Queen of the Mississippi’s numerous and distinct amenities, such as oversized staterooms and private balconies with sliding glass doors; as well as personalised service, fine dining, daily educational events and evening entertainment.”
