This island beckons with something for everyone

If lolling on Cancun’s soft, sandy shores and contemplating the temperate turquoise seas aren’t enough action for you, then consider exploring the myriad activities offered in the area. The Cancun Underwater Museum (MUSA) offers an underwater view of some 475 sculptures by British artist Jason DeCaires Taylor and a handful of local artists. They can be viewed from a boat or snorkelling.

From May through September frolic with gentle migrating whale sharks – the largest fish on the planet – in their watery turf. You can safely swim alongside them as they feed on bountiful plankton.
