Centara has announced the second opening of a property in Phuket, continuing its expansion in the region. The property will be built in the idyllic Bangtao, a beach on the northwestern side of Phuket.

Centara has announced the second opening of a property in Phuket, continuing its expansion in the region. The property will be built in the idyllic Bangtao, a beach on the northwestern side of Phuket.

Centara is reportedly the largest operator in Thailand where four of the group’s brands are represented. As of July 24, Centara signed to management contract with owning company, Adler Group Co. Ltd. The expected grand opening will be August 2016.

Thirayuth Chirathivat, chief executive officer of Centara Hotels & Resorts says, “Bangtao is set on one of Phuket’s longest beaches. This part of the island has become very popular with visitors, and we are delighted to be opening a hotel here.”

Chris Bailey, senior vice president for sales and marketing at Centara Hotels & Resorts explains that Centara’s marketing strategy focuses on catering to different market segments with their four different brands. One brand can’t fit everyone’s needs, so Centara’s strategic to make different sub brands is a great way to ensure maximum reach. We can’t wait to the finished product in ’16.
