COMO Shambhala Estate is a residential health retreat with luxury villa-style accommodations near Ubud, Bali. This ‘Retreat for Change’ occupies an extraordinary 23-acre location on a jungle-covered riverbank known for The Source, a natural spring locally revered for its healing properties. The Estate’s Resident experts include a Yoga Master, Ayurvedic Doctor, Nutritionist and teachers in Tai’Chi, Qigong and other martial arts, all of whom work together to create purposeful healing programmes. State-of-the-art wellness facilities include a Vitality pool using water from The Source, private treatment areas beside the River Ayung, indoor and outdoor gyms, a climbing wall, yoga pavilion and Pilates studio.

The design, by architect Cheong Yew-Kwan, incorporates much of the Indonesian style, with natural roofs and stone, while all suites and villas have private pools.
