Dusit Fudu Hotels & Resorts have signed a management agreement with Panzhihua Sunshine Joyhome Tourism Investment to operate a deluxe all-villa resort in Panzhihua city, Sichuan province, to open in 2016.

Dusit Thani Resort Panzhihua, Sichuan, featuring 200 villas, will be the first internationally-branded hotel in the city. The property is conveniently located within the city’s eco-tourism development zone, currently being developed into a new leisure and golf destination in West China.

The hotel is directly opposite the high speed train station and is approximately ten minutes by car from the city’s central business district and Bao’anying Airport.

Panzhihua is located at the south of Sichuan province, adjacent to Yunnan province. The city is an ideal leisure destination, especially during winter as almost every day is sunny.

Panzhihua is also known for its rich mineral resources. The hotel will feature the award-winning Devarana Spa with a full range of lifestyle and wellness programmes. Dining outlets will include an all-day dining restaurant and a Chinese restaurant.

There is a complete range of recreational facilities including an indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped gymnasium and a golf driving range. An expansive function room and several meeting rooms featuring the latest audio-visual facilities will also be available at the resort.

“The success of this new management bid by Dusit Fudu has been spurred by our confidence both in the property and the potential of Panzhihua as a growing leisure destination.” Said Lim Boon Kwee, president of Dusit Fudu Hotels & Resorts
