It gives us great joy to travel, explore, discover and research new luxury locations, destinations, resorts, beaches,mountain retreats and hidden treasures. Every time we find something new and interesting soaked in the wow factor, we take delight in presenting it in the best possible manner to you, our readers. At the end of each issue,we ponder whether there shall be something new and even more exciting to discover and delicious enough to share with you in our future issues. The world of travel is literally bursting with something fresh and WOW every day.One of the new in the world of travel was our first print edition that hit the shelves this January. It saw brisk action in the bookstands and was widely appreciated as a success by all. While the print magazine is available in all major bookstands in South East Asia, the digital version enjoys a global reach via Apple’s Newsstand. What a way to start off a great year!

When in a new destination, or frequenting a routine haunt, the local concierge is always a helpful and effective resource. They are great in identifying quickly the cafes, bars, dining experiences, walkabouts and sightseeing best suited for the individual palate, all tried and tested options. This always translates to the best experience to be had with less time spent searching and more time enjoying. Within our ‘Recommended by Locals’ section, we add the best suggestions for city activities from some of the leading concierges in the world. We trust this will be a refreshing read for all.

In this issue, we compile a quick check of more than twenty new luxury hotel opening this year. Architecture,service, cuisine and all other forms of standards see new benchmarks being established as these new properties open their doors for business.
