ITB Berlin 2014 claims to have highest travel technology in the world

A lot many international exhibitors will be present this year in ITB Berlin.

More than two-thirds of the exhibitors from abroad will be showcasing their products and services in the 26 halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, which are now fully booked. Around 110,000 trade visitors are expected to attend this event. ITB Berlin will be offering visitors a representative overview of travel products and services from around the world and of growth-intensive niche markets from 5th to 9th March. The public will again have an opportunity to purchase travel products directly from exhibitors on the weekend of the show. Mexico, this year’s partner country will be the main highlight and will be hosting the opening ceremony in the International Congress Center (ICC Berlin). It will also have information on its products and services displayed in Hall 1.1

This year, ITB Berlin will be celebrating the debut of two events. Prior to the opening of the show, ITB Summit will be taking place having 600 international delegates attending it. Lee McCabe, Travel head, Facebook will be speaking about how new and established marketing methods combine with omni-channel marketing. ITB Innovators, the new web platform provides a compact overview of 100 new travel and marketing innovations. These will also be exhibited in Hall 7.1b. Thereafter, Nils Müller, CEO of TrendONE will through light upon future predictions and give his analysis on how people will travel after 10 years.

The access to an exclusive business circle will be provided to the senior buyers from the international tourism industry which will offer them several benefits. Around 700 senior buyers from Canada, Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, USA and South America will be joining the exclusive buyers circle.

ITB Berlin will be staging 40 events that are organised by bloggers for bloggers to respond the new trend of travel blogs utilization by the companies on a large scale in order to target customers.

The ITB Bloggers Speed Dating event provides a platform for hotels and destinations that will enables them to meet travel bloggers globally. This year, ITB Berlin expects nearly 300 participants from 15 countries that is almost a third more than last year event’s participants. 2014 claims to have more travel technology at ITB Berlin, The eTravel segment will feature workshops and seminars on digital, social media and travel mobile communication trends.
