Free visa in 3 minutes with your SAUDIA flight ticket. Saudi Arabian airline, SAUDIA, is set to launch a new program that allows travellers holding a flight ticket from the airline to enter Saudi Arabia for a maximum of 96 hours, or four days. This exciting new program, which is being called “Your Ticket is a Visa,” will not only allow passengers to enter the country for a short period of time for tourism purposes, but it will also allow them to use this time to perform the Haj and Umrah pilgrimages.

The process of obtaining this visa will be incredibly simple and can be done in under 3 minutes. When passengers book their plane tickets online, they will be asked if they require a visa. If it is indicated that a  visa is needed, the traveller will be redirected to a form they will need to fill out and complete a few procedures. These procedures should take at most three minutes to complete.

This new program will be available at all international airports within the Kingdom and is expected to extend to all international travellers. This visa issuance flexibility, effectively a visa-on-arrival, is already in place on several UAE-based airlines, such as Etihad and Emirates, which offer transit visas of 48 to 96 hours, along with plane tickets when visiting the UAE.

It is also in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to increase the number of visitors to the country and promote tourism. With this new program, SAUDIA is making it easier for travellers to visit the Kingdom and experience the rich culture and history of the region.
