Silversea has revealed its two “Grand Voyages” for 2015, Silver Shadow & Silver Spirit. Both cruises are extensive, lasting between 62-64 days each.

Silver Shadow sets sail early in January, whose voyage was described as “Circle around South America”. The voyage starts in Fort Lauderdale and while in Florida makes stops in Key West as well. It then sets sail to travel to Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Falkland Islands, Uruguay, Brazil, French Guiana, Barbados, Grenada, Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, Dominican Republic, Turks & Caicos, and the Bahamas. Whew. While each of the destinations mentioned are all beautiful, the cruise’s highlights are the crossing of the Panama Canal, a tour of Chile’s beautiful fjords (long, narrow inlet with steep sides or cliffs due to geological activity), and our favorite, Rio de Janeiro during Carnival!

Departing around two-weeks later, the Silver Spirit begins its voyage in Los Angeles. From there the cruise travels through the Southwest Pacific’s most mesmerizing destinations including. The iconic travel destinations the Silver Spirit will travel to are Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Samoa, Kiribati and Hawaii. Anyone who goes on this cruise is truly lucky and will probably be able to cross off these surefire “bucket list” destinations.

Needless to say, Silversea exceeded our expectations with these incredible voyages. We can’t wait until they release the entire schedule for 2015.
