Located near the village Astris, Giola, Thassos, Greece, The lagoon is often called the most natural swimming pool of the world. This unique water reservoir provides a pleasant swimming experience in its beautiful yet naturally carved swimming pool. This seaside gem is apparently quite a trek, but for those willing to make the journey, they are rewarded with an incredible natural pool to soak in the breathtaking views of the crystal sea.
.You may have heard about the island of Thassos already, the mythological Syrens, who have allured sailors with their mesmerising singing, have resided here. Aegean Sea rinses its shores and fills the pool with water. But since the pool is separated from the sea with a rock wall, the water in the lagoon is much warmer, making it much more pleasant to dive in. The place is unknown and the access there is difficult.
