South Africa Welcomes Opening of Four Seasons Hotel

The Four Seasons continues its expansion in South Africa! Four seasons has built a partnership with South Africa’s players in the management industry, the owners of the Westcliff hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa. The partnership includes a complete renovation of the original Westcliff hotel and will be launched as a Four Seasons Westcliff Johannesburg.

The re-opening of the hotel will include a luxury dining area overlooking majestic sunsets in the evening, new spa and fitness facilities and new luxury out-door pool.

Although the launch of this new hotel is a merger, owners of the original Westcliff wanted to keep the architectural design similar to the original design.

The opening of a Four Seasons in Johannesburg marks another addition to the company’s sub-saharan expansion. Last year the company opened a Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, Tanzania, a resort in the Serengeti National Park. The company foresees two future business opportunities in Tanzania. Anyone planning to go visit the sub-saharan area for the holidays?
