From 11th – 14th February, some of the world’s most prestigious and luxurious yachts will sail into Phuket’s Ao Po Grand Marina for the inaugural edition of the Thailand Yacht Show. The show comes at a time when momentum and interest in Thailand’s charter potential is at its peak following a landmark announcement of a new licence for foreign-flagged superyachts to charter in Thai waters. With its superb cruising grounds and prime location, Phuket is destined to become one of the top hubs for superyachts in Asia.
The Thailand Yacht Show is working in partnership with the Thai Government; Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha will officially open the Show on Thursday 11 February. Thailand Yacht Show epitomises luxury lifestyle, bringing together world-class yachts, glamorous parties and an enviable range of prestige brands. Highlights from the show’s line- up come from some of the world’s most respected boat brands including Burgess Yachts, Monte Carlo Yachts, Pershing and Ferretti.
The 73m M/Y Titania, one of the most distinctive yachts on the market, is coming to the Show. Titania offers incredible amenities and even boasts an on-board beauty salon with fully qualified massage therapist and beautician. The 69.09m M/Y Saluzi is perfect for Asia-based charters. She is the largest charter yacht permanently based in the region. Her shallow draft allows her to sail closer to shore than other superyachts of this magnitude, giving charter guests easy access to coral reefs and diving sites. The Pershing 92 is one of the fastest fiberglass yachts of her size, with a top speed of 40 knots. She also boasts a tender garage to match no other and comes with a wide range of water toys.
Aside from the impressive array of boats on display, Thailand Yacht Show’s VIP guests are invited to board the floating VIP Lounge, the Hype Luxury Boat Club. Guests will be treated to gourmet delicacies and a well-stocked bar whilst being entertained by Hype’s very own DJ.
