Go glamping in the heart of Cambodia’s Southern Cardamom National Park Wilderness when the Bensley Collection – Shinta Mani Wild luxury tented camp experience opens on 1 November this year. Arrive at the gate lounge in style, by helicopter, and gather your courage as you zip line your way to the resort, much like Indiana Jones, 380m above the ground for a panoramic view of the river and waterfalls below you, and be met by the General Manager Sanjay Choegyal and the renowned Bensley Butlers. Otherwise, jeep transfers are also available.

Slated to be Bensley’s most ambitious and extravagant luxury tented camp project so far, the camp will include 15 tents—14 one-bedroom tents and one two-bedroom tent–with views of river and waterfalls. The design is reminiscent of what it must have been like on a safari in the Cambodian jungles in 1967 with King Sihanouk and Jackie O.

Condiments will be made in-house, and the camp will also have a permaculture farm while supporting local farmers and fishermen.

On a custom Bensley-designed, fully-equipped expedition boat, explore South East Asia’s last wild estuarine ecosystem, or accompany anti-poaching rangers and researchers while they study the forests and ensure a haven for the wildlife living there. Rates include food and beverage, spa treatments and land transfers from Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville airports. ◼[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/4″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_basic_grid post_type=”ids” element_width=”12″ initial_loading_animation=”none” grid_id=”vc_gid:1535018080686-9003c2b2-d716-3″ include=”14361″][vc_column_text]Subscribe to the latest edition now by clicking here.
