Design Hotels is joining hands with Taiwanese art stalwart Galerie Grand Siècle to put together this year’s Formosa Art Show. The exhibition, which aims at bridging the gap between Taiwanese and world art, will showcase works from United Kingdom, Poland, Israel, Japan and Taiwan. The exhibition includes artwork across various media: photography, installation art, sculptures and new media.

The show has been curated into three sections: ‘Classic and Focus’ will showcase works by eminent Taiwanese and International galleries, ‘Up and Coming’ will highlight emerging artists under 40 years old, and ‘Limited and Unlimited’ will explore the novelty of expression via avant-garde limited edition art works. Highlights of the exhibition include the paintings ‘Praise to the Moment’ by Taiwanese artist Po-Jen Teng, ‘Transformed Cosmos – On Top of My City’ by Rae, and ‘I Imagine’ by Sonya Fu Man Yi. You can make use of hotel’s “Living in Art” package to revel in this unique experience. The package includes accommodation in a Grand Premier room, a copy of the exclusive ‘Humble House Taipei Art Book’ featuring all of the artworks displayed in the hotel, private access and tours of Galerie Grand Siècle, welcome drink and ‘daily special’ dessert and complimentary breakfast for NT$ 9,500.
