It didn’t take long until his proclivity turned into the exotic and extraordinary. One-of-a-kind pieces include a French head-shaped bottle made out of opal glass with a hint of red for the eyes, ears and teeth from the late 17th to early 18th-century; and a bronze perfume vase with a dark green patina in the shape of the head of a soldier from the Hellenistic Period from around 3 B.C., probably used for funerary ointment and manufactured by Orvieto or Vulci, famed for their bronzes.

If you like unusual and beautiful, this is one museum that you probably haven’t heard of that should be on your list of must-sees in The City of Lights.
