Look beyond Mexico’s white-sand beaches and all-night hot spots, and find a land of vibrant culture rooted in pre- Columbian and European tradition. Think of Mexico, you probably get ‘Cabo’ or ‘Cancun’. To experience a truly unforgettable Mexican getaway, make Mexico City your base. The neighbourhoods of Polanco, Pedregal and Lomas de Chapultepec rival the Via Montenapoleone for fashion, Copacabana for beaches and Beverly Hills for luxurious living.

Explore the mysteries of ancient Aztec and Mayan ruins and take in the natural beauty of lush jungles, mountain landscapes and white sand beaches. Hire a local driver to see the crumbling ruins of Teotihuacan Pyramids located just outside Mexico and the Floating Gardens of the Aztecs that lie to the south of Mexico City.

Mexico City is one of the best places in the world to discover world-class street art where its streets, the Diego Rivera, Jose Clemente Orozco and David Alfaro Siqueiros are its canvas. Take a walking tour of this eclectic world and hobnob with artists and collectors.

Best time to visit Mexico City is between March and May, even though the streets are pretty crowded this time of year. Plan the trip so that you get to be a part of their key events like Smana Santa, Cinco de Mayo and the Mexico City International Contemporary Film Festival.
