Great news for cruise lovers! The famous Belmond Afloat in France has just announced an addition of two luxurious barges that will cruise along the picturesque canals and rivers of France, in 2017.

The latest floating luxury abodes, to the already astonishing Belmond fleet, will be the Belmond Lilas, which will take up to eight guests, through the breathtaking scenery of Alsace, and Belmond Pivoine, which will be capable of luxuriously accommodating eight guests as well, and taking them on an unforgettable cruise through the world famous Champagne region along the River Marne and Canal Lateral de Marne, passing undulating hills filled with vines and pretty canal-side villages.

Those who choose to unwind and enjoy their week on the welcoming, and with a pretty relaxing atmosphere, Belmond Lilas, will have a chance to experience pure overwhelming of the senses. As the name suggests, the barge will be beautified by the colors that highlight the Alsace region, and the amazing wines that are made there. The relaxing cruise feature private visits to family-owned vineyards and breweries, and spectacular Châteaux.

If you are among those who are thinking about trying the Belmond Pivoine cruise, have in mind that what awaits you on this ship is nothing but relaxation, and the pleasant and romantic shades of white and yellow colors, which complement the champagne region you will cruise through.

As for the prices, you will have to set aside some €5,200, for a six-night cruise on an all-inclusive basis.
