Banyan Tree Spa Seychelles invites spa fans to shed the cares of the world in one of its eight luxurious hillside pavilions. Each of the eight Spa Pavilions was carefully sited between granite boulders nestled within the virgin jungle vegetation. The Pavilions are deliberately oriented towards the ocean views. In order to maximize the ‘open feel’ of the venue to let nature spill in, walls are replaced by short railings fabricated from clear tempered glass. The result is Spa Pavilions ‘floating’ in the majestic wilderness, recreations of the very best of Seychellois architecture combining contemporary, colonial and plantation décor. Above the exquisite side-by-side spa therapy beds, a high ceiling acts as a silky sunshade while guests are being pampered. The Spa is complemented by a Beauty Salon, a Herbal, Vegetable and Floral Garden where one may find plants commonly used in spa treatments such as kaffir lime, lemongrass, mint, galangal, basil, banana, aloe vera and ylang ylang.
