The Atlantis Sanya, an integrated resort named after the famed lost city, launched a series of by-invitation events across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu ahead of its opening in early 2018. Well-heeled guests can view the 86,000 marine animals in the Ambassador Lagoon from the comfort of the resort’s luxury underwater suites with floor-to-ceiling glass window panels.

There are four Neptune Underwater Suites and the more spacious Poseidon Underwater Suite provide a breathtaking view of the resort’s underwater world. The Ambassador Lagoon is the largest open-air aquarium in China with 280 different species of marine animals on display.

“Nowhere else in China can visitors enjoy such breathtaking views of sea life and learn about fish species and ocean preservation,” said Managing Director Heiko Schreiner.
