Chopard, the renowned luxury jewellery and watchmaker, is set to open its first-ever hotel, 1 Place Vendôme, on November 15. This boutique hotel, nestled in the prestigious Place Vendôme square, is an exceptional addition to Paris’s luxury hotel landscape, a statement of exclusivity and privacy for the ultra-wealthy.
A Historic Mansion Transformed at Place Vendôme Square
Located above the existing Chopard boutique, 1 Place Vendôme is housed in an 18th-century listed building, a six-story mansion that has undergone a four-year overhaul. The transformation, led by acclaimed designer Pierre-Yves Rochon – known for his work on Parisian landmarks like Shangri-La Paris and Four Seasons George V – has turned this historic mansion into a haven of luxury. The hotel features 15 opulent rooms and suites, including ten suites and five rooms, each offering a unique experience of refined luxury.
1 Place Vendôme is more than just a hotel; it’s an exclusive retreat. Catering exclusively to high-end clientele, the hotel’s facilities are open only to staying guests and VIP Chopard clients. This approach to hospitality ensures an atmosphere of discreet luxury, where guests can enjoy their stay with utmost privacy and comfort.
Every aspect of 1 Place Vendôme is designed to provide guests with a personalized and luxurious experience. The hotel offers a butler service, making each stay feel like being in an ultra-premium family residence. One of the hotel’s highlights is the “Winter Garden,” a glass-roofed sitting room illuminated by natural light. This space features a stunning mosaic mural that pays homage to Maison Chopard’s Animal World Collection, depicting an exotic jungle scene with thousands of polished gemstones.

Chopard’s 1 Place Vendôme: Suites, Culinary Delights and Hidden Treasures
The hotel’s culinary offerings are curated by Chef Boris Algarra. Guests can enjoy seasonal cuisine with classic touches at the table d’hôtes. Adding to the allure is a secret Chinese-inspired cigar lounge, cleverly concealed behind a wall of false bookshelves.
Each suite at 1 Place Vendôme is a masterpiece. The Chopard Apartment, spanning 131 square meters, boasts a ceremonial salon with a 5-meter high ceiling overlooking the famous Place Vendôme. The Suite Signature Astronomie, an 88 square meter loft, offers breathtaking views and a romantic green terrace. The Suite Signature Rubis, a 73 square meter suite, features exposed wooden beams and a herringbone parquet, creating a country house atmosphere in the heart of Paris.
