Royal Caribbean has once again raised the bar in luxury cruising with the debut of the “Icon of the Seas,” a ship that redefines the meaning of a family vacation. This mega-ship, spanning eight distinct neighbourhoods, offers an array of experiences within the cruise ship, from a serene beach retreat to an exhilarating resort escape and a theme park adventure, all at sea.
The “Icon of the Seas” is designed as a floating mega-resort, with each neighbourhood representing a unique vacation destination in itself. Many of these features are first ever seen on cruise ships, providing unparalleled experiences for guests day and night. The cruise ship houses six record-breaking waterslides at Category 6, offering thrill-seekers an adventure like no other. For those looking to unwind, there are seven pools, including the first-ever suspended infinity pool at sea – one for every day of the week.
