The Pine Cliffs Resort, Portugal, has just announced the completion of its 18-month extensive renovation spree. The luxury collection resort in Algarve has been on the wish list of many travellers. The restoration work is noteworthy, given the touch of the celebrated designer Lynne Hunt who has personally supervised the eclectic new look in each of its 217 guestrooms and suites, public areas and facilities.

The resort spans over 170 acres across the Algarve coastline. Food is a huge draw with 11 restaurants and bars, each having its own distinctive look and cuisines. The poolside seafood restaurant O Pescador Beach Club is a must visit and so are Piri Piri Steak House and Zest which offers health-conscious drinks, snacks and main course dishes.

The remodelling exercise has been extra kind to the Spa, aptly named “Serenity The Art of Wellbeing”. Its six swimming pools, Porto Pirata, the region’s largest kids club, an Annabel Croft Tennis Academy, a nine-hole golf course with great views, gardens and a well-stocked shopping arcade, all go into making Pine Cliff Resorts a rewarding destination. Having a dedicated 23,000 sqft area for events and meetings ensures its relevance for weddings and large corporate events too. An increasing interest in Portugal has made it a popular luxury tourist destination.
