Well, it’s official. Britain has voted to leave the European Union.

Well, it’s official. Britain has voted to leave the European Union. The modality, mechanism and finer details are yet to be worked out however this abrupt backtrack has created chaos and opportunities for many. The British Pound fell overnight, to a 31-year low against the Dollar and as we go to print, the Sterling continues to slide down against the major currencies. All of a sudden, Britain has become a more attractive tourist destination than it was a few months ago. More attractive by 34% from its peak, to be precise! Shopping in Bond Street’s exclusive boutiques, getting a bespoke suit in Jermyn St or staying in the premadonna of hotels in central London is now 30% sweeter. It is Happy Hour London for travellers, with the Chinese, always with the first move advantage, pouncing on flights to UK immediately after the pound fall. It is a mere coincidence that in this edition, we publish a guide to some of the best luxury hotels in London. To put a review in, these luxury home-away-from-homes are all simply out of this world. It’s a far cry from merry ol’ London; these are amazingly luxurious properties, with a superb eye for detail.
