So you’ve taken all the vows with that one special person you’ve decided to spend the rest of your life with. After the big day comes the most awaited, honeymoon. And if you’ve chosen Italy as your honeymoon destination then congratulations! You’ve chosen a city that evolves romance.

We’ve come up with some tips for you to make your Italian honeymoon a memorable and stress free one. Take a look!

1.Read Italian fiction

A romantic novel based out in Italy is the perfect book to read on your honeymoon. Ensconce yourself in Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes, with its vivid descriptions of Italian countryside living. Or there’s Anthony Capella’s The Wedding Officer, Italy’s answer to Captain Corelli’s Mandolin which captures the enduring passion for romance and Italian cooking in Naples. These novels are may tend to give you the much Italian romance feeling.

2.Don’t forget the DSLR

Of course, we all love to capture the best moments of our lives. Purchase a DSLR if you don’t have one or just try a vintage Leica camera for classic style.

3.Ditch the wheelie if you’re heading to Venice

In order to restrict noise-pollution, it’s now illegal to drag wheelie-suitcases through the calm streets of Venice unless you’re a local. So, if you can’t convince everyone you’re a native Venetian, use an alternative like a trendy shoulder bag or case with rubber wheels.

4.Bon Appetite

It’s not surprising to learn that the original home of pizza and pasta is one of the best places in the world for a food-based holiday. Indulge yourself on your honeymoon with wine and truffles in beautiful Tuscany, the jewel in the crown of Italian cookery where simplicity and tradition reign supreme, and don’t miss the heel of Italy’s boot, Puglia, a hidden gem where much of the country’s famed olive oil begins life.

5.Think elegant, Italian style

Channel Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday with your refined classy yet relaxed city wardrobe, as you enjoy site-seeing in style and elegance. For the beach, make like an Italian fashionista and carry off effortless beach glamour with light kaftans and luxe two-pieces. This is a place that will make you feel like a style.
