Hotel Lancaster
Owned by a French family, Hotel Lancaster represents all that is elegant and refined about French hospitality. It is endowed with numerous pieces of artwork-masterpieces in the rooms and lounges, true collector’s items,stylish furniture and offers a very warm and homely atmosphere.The building was originally built in 1889 as a town house, in the style of the “ancient regime”, for Monsieur Santiago Drake del Castillo,a nobleman who had acquired the land ten years earlier from the Prince and Princess d’Hennin. The house remained in the Castillo’s family until 1925 when it was sold to a Swiss gentleman, Monsieur Emile Wolf to create Hotel Lancaster.
