After a successful debut last year, the ultra-luxury expedition ship Silver Endeavour is set to return to Antarctica for the 2024/2025 season. As part of Silversea’s expanded polar program, the yacht will explore some of the continent’s most remote and dramatic landscapes, promising an unparalleled Antarctic adventure.

The season kicks off on October 29, 2024, running through March 10, 2025, with Silver Endeavour embarking on an 18-day voyage through South Georgia, the South Shetland Islands, and the Antarctic Peninsula. Adventurers can expect breathtaking encounters, including a pod of orca whales, towering glaciers at Wilhelmina Bay, and the icy expanse of Neko Harbour.

One of the highlights includes a rare landing at Baily Head on the South Shetland Islands, home to nearly 45,000 pairs of chinstrap penguins. This remote outpost, seldom visited due to its challenging conditions, offers a glimpse into one of nature’s most extraordinary spectacles.

Silversea is also expanding its exploration capacity by adding 22 newly identified landing sites, increasing its total to 80 Antarctic destinations. “We are delighted to return to Antarctica for our 2024/2025 season, sailing to many of the Polar Region’s most spectacular corners,” said Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea. “Our teams’ efforts ensure that travellers experience one of the most diverse expedition offerings available.”

The Silver Wind and Silver Cloud will also join the Silver Endeavour, completing a fleet of three ships offering 34 voyages across the Antarctic waters. With sailings ranging from six to 22 days, explorers will have options tailored to varying levels of adventure and time commitments.
