Hasan Hejazi burst into the fashion scene in 2010 with his first collection for Autumn/Winter that year. “It was showcased in an amazing catwalk show in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, as a result, I was stocked in Harrods,” he recalls.

He launched his first collection upon graduating from the prestigious London College of Fashion. Armed with his natural flair in fashion and the skills he learned from his time in design school, this half English half Jordanian designer’s pieces caught the eye of A-listers. He has dressed the likes of Jourdan Dunn, Jessie J, Cheryl Tweedy, Olivia Palermo, and Nicole Scherzinger to name a few.

Hasan creates luxury pieces for the modern woman who exude glamour, femininity, and power. His latest collection, his first ever ready-to-wear, was launched in November 2017 exclusively online. “The collection features unique party pieces. I wanted it to be fun yet sophisticated and to showcase my signature details such as the buckle belts and sports luxe finishes,” he says.

“I intend to do more travelling this year in the hopes of sourcing lots of inspiration,” he shares.

WHERE I CALL HOME London has so many nice hotels that double up as great restaurants and bars. Some favourites would be The London EDITION hotel for best cocktails, The Ned for a great atmosphere with lots of food choices, and Sketch for its totally amazing interior, especially the pink room! I live near the White Cube in Bermondsey which I visit most often.

FAVOURITE CITY Ibiza, I just love the chilled-out feeling. There is a special energy about it. I much prefer the tranquil side of Ibiza more so than the clubbing scene. I love the old town and the beautiful beaches especially Cala Sa Caleta, which is a striking red sandy beach with scenic views.

TRAVEL MUST-HAVES Music player, a bottle of water, ear plugs, and friends.

WEEKEND RETREAT I rarely get the chance to go to many retreats but when I do, I like to escape the city and go to a more relaxing place to break away from the chaos. The English countryside is always a beautiful site to see and full of fresh air. I spent Christmas 2016 at the most beautiful place called “The Lakes by Yoo” which is located close to the Cotswolds. It’s a breathtaking place and so festive. A group of friends and I stayed in a villa overlooking the frozen lakes which was unforgettable. There were many opportunities for country walks and relaxing in the spa with an outdoor hot tub
