The additional flight will be operated using the Airbus A380, Emirates’ flagship aircraft known for its spacious cabins and advanced in-flight amenities.

With this move, the airline will provide more than 700 extra seats daily on the route. The expansion reinstates Emirates’ capacity to South Africa to pre-pandemic levels, totalling 49 weekly flights across three major South African cities: Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban.
